Accessibility Statement

REACH — Real Educational Answers for Community Hope is committed to accessible services and content for all residents. Our goal is to make our website and in-person services at The REACH Resource Center usable by everyone.

Standards We Aim For

  • WCAG 2.1 AA for web content wherever feasible
  • Plain-language writing and clear page structure
  • Consistent headings, labels, and link names
  • Keyboard navigation and logical focus order
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA targets

What We Do

  • Use alt text for meaningful images and icons
  • Provide captions or transcripts for multimedia when posted
  • Limit motion and animation; avoid flashing effects
  • Test with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation
  • Offer accessible document formats on request

Known Limitations

Some third-party tools or linked documents may not fully meet our accessibility targets. We offer reasonable alternatives when requested and work continually to improve compatibility.

Request Assistance or Alternate Formats

If you encounter any barrier, need a document in a different format, or want to report an issue, contact us. We will respond as quickly as possible.

Please include the page or document link and the assistive technology used, if applicable.
